Saudi Gazette reportTAIF — The Saudi Arabian Football Federation (SAFF) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with its Syrian counterpart.The MoU was signed by Yasser Al-Misehal, president of SAFF, and his Syrian counterpart Salahalddin Ramadan in the presence of Abdularahman Al-Khateeb, Vice President of the Syrian Football Federation.The signing took place on the sidelines of the 77th session of the Union of Arab Football Associations (UAFA), which was held in Taif.Al-Misehal and Ramadan discussed ways of enhancing cooperation between the Saudi and Syrian federations during the upcoming period in a way that serves Arab and Asian football.The move comes within the Saudi Arabian Football Federation's efforts to strengthen cooperation with different countries.

The non-Saudi professional players are to be determined within the permissible limit of 8 players via the electronic system of the Saudi Pro League (SPLIS).
