ZATCA thwarts 3 attempts to smuggle over 539,000 Captagon pills
RIYADH — The Zakat, Tax, and Customs Authority (ZATCA) has thwarted three separate attempts to smuggle more than 539,000 Captagon pills into the Kingdom. The pills were found hidden in three vehicles that arrived through the Hadithah dry port on the Jordanian border.ZATCA stated that in the first attempt, the culprits tried to smuggle 187,200 Captagon pills hidden in multiple parts of the vehicle. In the second case, the authorities foiled an attempt to smuggle 210,400 Captagon pills, after hiding them inside the radiator of a trailer truck.
