JEDDAH — A Member of Provincial Assembly (MPA) in Khyber Pukhtunkhwa (KPK) Assembly from Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and a member of standing the committee for higher education, Salah Mohammed Khan Sawati was honored by Khaista Khan, a noted member of Pakistani community, at his residence recently.
Members of the Pakistani community included Haji Mohammed Ashraf Awan, Mohammed Nasir, Zahid Khan Awan, Babu Khan, Khavi Khan, Fida Mohammed, Adeel Awan, Juma Khan, Mohammed Sarfraz and Sajjad Awan also attended the function.
Mohammed Ashraf welcomed guests and gave a brief introduction of Sawati. He appreciated his services rendered for people in the KPK province.
Sawati disclosed in his speech that 15 months have been passed but Pakistan Tahreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government has failed to established a single school in the KPK province, despite promising to open a school within 90 days.
He said Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif-led federal government is trying hard to solve the problems and challenges facing the Pakistan.
Swati commended the successful military operation Zarb-e-Azb in North Waziristan against the local and foreign militants.
He praised the cooperation of National Database & Registration Authority (NADARA), which is doing well for the Internally Displaced Person (IDPs).
He thanked the host and guests for honoring him.
Earlier, Sajjad Ahmed recited few verses from the Holy Qur'an followed a poem by Zamarrud Khan Saifi.
