Kashmir community honors ex-president Azad Kashmir

JEDDAH — Members of Pakistani and Kashmiri community living in Jeddah jointly hosted a reception dinner in honor of ex- president of Azad Kashmir, Barrister Sultan Mahmoud Chaudhry at Kababish restaurant Friday.



Barrister Lovers Movement International's (BLMI) Chaudhry Sagir Ahmed presided over the gathering.



The gathering witnessed the attendance of large numbers of distinguished community members included Chaudhry Mohammed Mutloub, Chaudhry Mukhtar, Khushhal Tahir, Chaudhry Mahfouz Chattah, Chaudhry Ather Habib, Dr. Maqsood Abdali, Chaudhry Khursheed Ahmed Mitial, Ch. Murid Hussain, Ch. Khalid Mahmoud and Syed Riaz Hussain Bukhari as well as Sadar Inyat Ullah, adviser to president Azad Kashmir.



Chaudhry expressed his gratitude to the organizers, sponsors of People's Youth Organization (PYO), BLMI and Jawaid Malik for hosting the reception.



He said: "I am impressed to see the excitement, brotherhood and love among the Kashmiri people. Their presence here in such a large number shows the awareness of  issue and the solidarity with Kashmiri peoples"



Chaudhry said the only solution of this core issue between two nuclear powers of subcontinent (India and Pakistan) is to give self determination to Kashmiris in the light of UN resolutions.



He said that Kashmiris would achieve their objective of freedom because masses have scarified a lot for Kashmir cause.



He hoped that the sacrifices would bring forth the day and Kashmiris would see the dawn of independence.



Poets Zamarrud Khan Saifi rendered sentiments in verses for the Kashmir.



Arshad Mahmoud recited few verses from Holy Qur'an. Gulam Mustafa presented Naat. Syed Fazal Abbas Shah conducted the function.
