JEDDAH — Pakistan’s Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif left the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia after witnessing the military exercise dubbed “Saif Abdullah (Sword of Abdullah),” one of the largest exercise by Kingdom’s Armed Forces, in Hafar Al Batan on Tuesday.



Speaking to Saudi Gazette, Sohail Ali Khan, press consular at the Pakistan Consulate stated that the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif arrived here in Saudi Arabia on a two-day official visit to witness the Saudi Military Exercise “Sword of Abdullah” on an invitation extended by Crown Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.



He was received at the Royal terminal by Deputy Defense Minister of Saudi Arabia Prince Salman Bin Sultan Al Saud and General Hussain bin Abdullah Al Qubayal, Chief of General Staff, Saudi Armed Forces. Services Chiefs of Saudi Armed Forces were also present at reception. Dignitaries of other countries were also present on the occasion.
