HAIL — Accountants, patient liaison officers, receptionists, public relations officers and drivers at private hospitals and polyclinics should be Saudi, said Dr. Osama Al-Abdulkarim, head of the National Health Committee at the Council of Saudi Chambers. The committee is planning to enforce Saudization for the above job titles while giving hospitals and polyclinics the freedom to choose if they want to hire Saudi or non-Saudi doctors, nurses, laboratory technicians and radiologists. “It is difficult now to find qualified Saudi healthcare professionals who can fill these positions,” said Al-Abdulkrarim.
