RIYADH — The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development announced on Monday its decisions to increase Saudization rates in marketing and sales professions.

The first decision raises the Saudization rate in private-sector marketing professions to 60 percent in establishments with three or more employees. It includes professions such as marketing manager, advertising manager, advertising agent, marketing specialist, graphic designer, advertising designer, public relations professionals, and photographers. The decision will be implemented three months after the announcement. The minimum monthly salary for these professions has been set at SR5500.

The second raises the Saudization rate for private-sector sales positions to 60 percent for establishments with three or more employees. It covers professions such as sales managers, retail and wholesale sales representatives, IT and communications equipment sales specialists, sale specialists and commercial specialists. The decision will come into force three months after the announcement.

The ministry stated that implementing these decisions will make the labor market more attractive, create quality job opportunities, and promote job stability for qualified Saudi nationals.
