Prince Khalid bin Salman and Al-Alimi discuss efforts to end Yemeni crisis

RIYADH — Saudi Defense Minister Prince Khalid bin Salman met with Chairman of the Yemeni Presidential Leadership Council Dr. Rashad Al-Alimi and members of the Council.Prime Minister of Yemen Salem bin Braik also attended the meeting.

They discussed developments on the Yemeni scene and efforts aimed at ending the Yemeni crisis within a comprehensive political solution to achieve security and stability in the country.


“The meeting with the Presidential Council members emphasized the importance of continuing efforts regarding the future of the Southern issue through the Riyadh Conference to find a comprehensive vision for just solutions,” Prince Khalid bin Salman said in a statement on his X platform.


"I affirmed to them Saudi Arabia’s continued support, under the directives of the leadership, in providing economic support and a package of development projects and programs for the people in various Yemeni governorates. This support embodies the Kingdom's commitment to strengthening security and stability and contributing to building a better future for Yemen and its people,” the defense minister said.
