RIYADH — Minister of National Guard Prince Abdullah bin Bandar met with Minister of International Trade of Canada Maninder Sidhu in Riyadh on Monday.

During the meeting, they exchanged cordial talks and discussed issues of mutual interest.

Also on Monday, Minister of Communications and Information Technology Abdullah Alswaha met with Canadian Minister of International Trade Maninder Sidhu at the ministry's headquarters in Riyadh. They discussed expanding bilateral partnership horizons in the fields of artificial intelligence (AI), innovation, and advanced technologies, as part of Saudi Arabia's efforts to strengthen its position as a global hub for AI and the digital economy.

The ministers reviewed opportunities to attract Canadian investments in several promising sectors, as well as avenues for cooperation in AI, supporting the entrepreneurship ecosystem, and opening markets in both countries.
