RIYADH — Two Egyptian residents were rescued by the Border Guards after their boat broke down in the Red Sea. The search and rescue teams of the Border Guard carried out the successful rescue operation in Al-Qahmah sector of the southern Asir region. The two men were provided with necessary assistance.

The General Directorate of Border Guards urged all citizens and residents to adhere to maritime safety guidelines, ensure the seaworthiness of their vessels before setting sail.

The directorate called on the public to contact 911 in the regions of Makkah, Madinah, and the Eastern Province, and 994 in the rest of the Kingdom for assistance in emergency situations.
