TABUK — The coastal patrol teams of the Border Guard in the Haql sector of the northwestern Tabuk region have foiled an attempt to smuggle 41,000 amphetamine pills, by using a drone. Initial legal procedures were completed, and the seized items were handed over to the relevant authorities.

The security authorities urged citizens and residents to report any information they may have about any activities related to smuggling or promoting drugs, by calling the number 911 in the regions of Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh and the Eastern Province, and the numbers 999 and 994 in the rest of the regions of the Kingdom.

They can also contact through the General Directorate of Narcotic Control's reporting number 995, and via email: 995@gdnc.gov.sa. The security sources noted that all reports will be treated with complete confidentiality.
