Saudi Gazette report
RIYADH — National Gas and Industrialization Company (GASCO) has announced the nationwide unification of prices for liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) used in household gas cylinders and central tanks, effective January 1, 2026.
Under the new pricing structure, the 11-kg gas cylinder will be priced at SR26.23, while the 5-kg cylinder will cost SR11.93.
The filling tariff for central gas tanks has been set at SR1.1770 per liter. GASCO confirmed that all prices include transportation costs and value-added tax (VAT).
Reducing regional price gaps
The move aims to eliminate price disparities between different regions of the Kingdom and enhance the quality and consistency of services provided to consumers.
GASCO said the unified pricing reflects its commitment to its role as a national partner supporting development and economic integration, while ensuring fairness and transparency in essential energy services.
The company noted that the decision aligns with broader efforts to improve governance in energy pricing and ensure reliable access to LPG products for households and facilities across Saudi Arabia.
