RIYADH — Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman has received a message from Russian President Vladimir Putin addressing bilateral relations between Saudi Arabia and Russia.
The message was delivered by Russian Ambassador to the Kingdom Sergey Kozlov during a meeting with Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Waleed Alkhereiji at the Foreign Ministry’s headquarters in Riyadh on Tuesday.
During the meeting, the two sides reviewed Saudi-Russian relations and discussed recent regional and international developments, along with ongoing diplomatic efforts to address them.
The exchange comes as ties between Saudi Arabia and Russia continue to strengthen, including expanded cooperation in tourism and cultural fields.
As part of this growing partnership, both countries agreed to exempt citizens of each country from visa requirements, a decision that came into effect on December 1.
