Sheikh Abdullah Saleh Kamel has been elected president of the Federation of Saudi Chambers for its 16th term from 2026 to 2029.

Sheikh Kamel is currently serving as chairman of the Board of Directors of the Makkah Chamber of Commerce and Industry and President of the Islamic Chamber of Commerce and Development.

The election to head the Federation of Saudi Chambers reflects the high level of trust he enjoys within economic and business circles. Sheikh Kamel's election comes at a time when Saudi Arabia has been witnessing significant economic activities, driven by the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, which aim to diversify the economy, empower the private sector, enhance the role of chambers of commerce in supporting entrepreneurs and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), and increase the private sector's contribution to the GDP.

Sheikh Abdullah holds several senior leadership positions across prominent economic, development, and media institutions.

He serves as Chairman of the Board of Dallah Albaraka Holding Company, Chairman of Umm Al-Qura Development and Reconstruction Company, and Chairman of Al Baraka Group B.S.C. He is also Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Saleh Abdullah Kamel Humanitarian Foundation.

In addition, he chairs the board of Okaz Organization for Press and Publication, the General Council for Islamic Banks and Financial Institutions, the Islamic Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture, and the Makkah Chamber of Commerce.

Previously, he held a number of executive positions at Dallah Albaraka Holding Company, progressing through senior management roles before assuming the position of Chief Executive Officer, where he gained extensive hands-on leadership and operational experience.

Sheikh Abdullah is a distinguished businessman and investor with more than 30 years of experience across investment, banking, and industrial sectors.

He is also widely recognized for his active role in philanthropy and public service, contributing to charitable, humanitarian, and development initiatives with lasting social impact.
