MAKKAH — The General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque has announced the opening of applications for companies and factories interested in providing iftar meals during the holy month of Ramadan 1447 AH. This is part of the authority’s efforts to organize iftar services and improve the quality of meals served to worshipers at the Two Holy Mosques.

According to the authority, the application is open only to companies and factories qualified to provide iftar services inside the Grand Mosque in Makkah and the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah. Applicants must meet several requirements, including holding a valid commercial registration and a valid municipal license or a license issued by the Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) for an operating site in Makkah or Madinah.

They must also have a physical operating location in one of the two cities, supported by proof of ownership or a notarized lease agreement. The establishment must also have a clean public health record, comply with the meal specifications approved by the SFDA, and be able to provide at least 10,000 meals per day.

The authority noted that document submission can continue until Rajab 10, 1447 AH, corresponding to December 30. Interested companies and factories are advised to carefully review all terms and conditions and ensure that all requirements are completed within the specified timeframe.
