Panda signs Miles Exchange Agreement with AlFursan, linking everyday shopping with travel rewards for the first time

December 24, 2025

Panda Retail Company has signed a strategic partnership with AlFursan, Saudia’s loyalty program, introducing a Miles Exchange Agreement in a move that marks a first-of-its-kind initiative within the grocery retail sector in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The agreement reflects Panda’s strategic direction toward redefining value creation and elevating customer experience through innovative loyalty solutions.

Under the agreement, members of Panda Plus will be able to convert cashback earned from their purchases at Panda stores into Reward Miles. Additionally, AlFursan members will have the option to redeem their miles for Panda shopping vouchers through the upcoming AlFursan e-store, offering greater flexibility and added value in everyday spending.

The partnership aims to integrate shopping and travel benefits into a unified rewards ecosystem, expanding consumer choice and enhancing the usability of rewards across different loyalty platforms, while delivering a more seamless and rewarding customer journey.

Ahmad Chehade, Chief Marketing Officer at Panda Retail Company, said: “This agreement is part of Panda’s broader strategy to expand partnerships with leading organizations across key sectors, driving innovation, enhancing service integration, and reinforcing our position as one of the Kingdom’s leading grocery retail brands. At Panda, we see loyalty as an ongoing relationship rather than a transactional program. Through our partnership with AlFursan program, we turn everyday cashback into meaningful travel experiences that deepen customer engagement and strengthen long-term loyalty.”

Kashmira Motiwalla, Chief Loyalty Officer of AlFursan Loyalty Program at Saudia, said: “Partnering with Panda Retail Company is a key step in the evolution of AlFursan from a travel-centric program into a broader, whole-of-life platform. By connecting travel rewards with retail and essential spend, we are building an ecosystem that gives members more choice, more flexibility and more meaningful ways to engage with AlFursan across different moments of their lives, on the journey and beyond.”

This partnership reflects Panda’s vision to develop innovative, customer-centric solutions through a robust ecosystem of strategic partnerships and high-impact initiatives that enhance added value and elevate the everyday shopping experience, reinforcing its leadership in advancing the grocery retail sector.
