RIYADH — The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development (MHRSD) has launched a general policy for youth development, a national guiding framework that reflects the Kingdom’s commitment to empowering youth and enhancing their effective participation in social development in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.

The policy aims to unify national efforts related to youth and achieve the highest levels of integration among government, private, and nonprofit entities, contributing to a motivating and sustainable developmental environment and boosting young people’s ability to play an active role in the Kingdom’s progress and prosperity.

The policy focuses on key areas including economic empowerment and community participation, education and lifelong learning, health and well-being, and identity and national belonging.

During the preparation phase, the ministry conducted benchmarking with 20 leading countries in youth development, organized more than 34 workshops with relevant stakeholders, held meetings with local and international experts, and carried out field surveys involving over 11,000 young men and women from various regions of the Kingdom.

The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development places special emphasis on youth and seeks to develop policies and programs that strengthen their national participation in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
