DOHA — Saudi Arabia booked their place in the Arab Cup quarterfinals after defeating Comoros 3-1 on Friday in their Group B Matchweek 2 encounter.

The victory lifted the Green Falcons to six points at the top of the group, two clear of Morocco in second place, with the two sides set to meet in the final round of the group stage.

Comoros remain bottom with no points, while Oman sit third with one.

Saudi fans turned out in large numbers, creating an electric atmosphere throughout the match.
