MANAMA — Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman is attending the 46th Session of the Supreme Council of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), which began in Manama, capital of Bahrain, on Wednesday. The Crown Prince will co-chair the fourth meeting of the Saudi-Bahraini Coordination Council, which will be held on the sidelines of the Gulf summit.

Upon his arrival at the King Fahd Causeway, coming from Al-Khobar, he was received by Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Bahrain Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa. Following the reception, the Crown Prince and Prince Salman proceeded in an official motorcade to Al Sakhir Palace.

The official Saudi delegation accompanying the Crown Prince include Minister of National Guard Prince Abdullah bin Bandar, Minister of Defense Prince Khalid bin Salman, Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan, Minister of Commerce Dr. Majed Al-Qasabi; Minister of State and Member of the Council of Ministers Prince Turki bin Mohammed; and Minister of State, Member of the Council of Ministers and National Security Advisor Dr. Musaed Al-Aiban.

Earlier, in a statement the Royal Court said that the Crown Prince departed for Bahrain to lead Saudi Arabia's delegation participating in the 46th Session of the Supreme Council of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and co-chair the fourth meeting of the Saudi-Bahraini Coordination Council. This was in line with the directives of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman, the statement added.
