Saudi, Pakistani interior ministers discuss enhancing security cooperation

RIYADH — Saudi Minister of Interior Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif received Pakistan’s Minister for Interior and Narcotics Control Mohsin Raza Naqvi at his office in Riyadh on Monday.

During the meeting, they discussed ways to further enhance security cooperation between the two countries, particularly in combating drug trafficking. They also reviewed a number of issues of common interest.

The meeting was attended by Acting Deputy Minister of Interior Prince Abdulaziz bin Mohammed bin Ayyaf; Assistant Minister of Interior Dr. Hisham Al-Falih; Advisor at the Minister's Office Lt. Gen. Sulaiman Al-Yahya; Saudi Ambassador to Pakistan Nawaf Al-Maliki; and a number of senior officials from the Ministry of Interior.

Pakistani Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Ahmad Farooq; and Muhammad Khurram Agha, undersecretary at the Pakistani Ministry of Interior and Narcotics Control, were also present.
