JOHANNESBURG — Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan met with foreign ministers of France, Egypt and Argentina in Johannesburg on Saturday. The meetings were held on the sidelines of the G20 Leaders’ Summit.

Prince Faisal held separate meetings with the French Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Jean-Noël Barrot; Egypt’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Immigration, and Expatriates Dr. Badr Abdelatty; and Argentinian Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Trade and Worship Pablo Quirno.

During the meetings, they reviewed relations between Saudi Arabia and the three countries. The ministers discussed aspects of bilateral cooperation across various fields and issues of common interest. The latest regional developments, their security and humanitarian implications, and the efforts being made to address them were also figured in their talks.


The meetings were attended by Saudi Ambassador to South Africa Faisal Al-Harbi and Director General of the Foreign Minister's Office Waleed Al-Ismail.
