Beyond Profit: Riyadh’s platform to shape the future of the global non-profit sector

November 18, 2025

The Beyond Profit International Forum is a first-of-its-kind platform that brings together diverse voices from across the world and every segment of the non-profit ecosystem.

Taking place in Riyadh, the Forum will foster rich dialogue around the ideas and challenges shaping the global non-profit landscape, while focusing on tangible actions that will make a meaningful difference in this vital sector.

Beyond Profit reinforces Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 commitment to advance global collaboration and social innovation – powered by a non-profit sector that has rapidly expanded to over 7,000 organizations, contributed more than SR40 billion to the economy, and achieved its 2030 volunteer target six years ahead of schedule, with more than 1.2 million volunteers nationwide.

Given the non-profit growth in the Kingdom, the Forum represents another example of Saudi Arabia’s expanding leadership role in non-profit development, impact measurement, and governance excellence.

This year’s program will explore four central themes:

• Evolving Power Dynamics – Examining how power structures in geopolitics and the non-profit world are shifting across borders, funders, and communities.

• Tech on a Mission – Highlighting how AI, biotechnology, and digital innovation are reshaping non-profits.

• Future of Giving – Reimagining new flows of capital into the non-profit sector.

• Sustaining People & Purpose – Addressing how to foster resilient teams, prevent burnout, and build leadership cultures that sustain missions, strengthen institutions, and fuel economic vitality.

Respected speakers from around the world will share their insights during the form, delivering sessions such as:

• Purpose as Policy: Redefining the Non-Profit Sector Through Advocacy and Impact

• Purpose in the Age of AI: Advancing Mission Innovation Responsibly and at Scale

• We’re Gonna Need a Bigger Tent: Partnerships for Collective Impact

• Return on Generosity (ROG): How Social Impact Contributes to Economic Growth

Beyond Profit will bring together leaders of non-profit organizations, development agencies, international institutions, social entrepreneurs, researchers, policymakers, government officials, young innovators, data experts, financial institutions, and CSR leaders. More than 80+ speakers and 1500+ attendees are expected. Together, they will unite around a shared vision of empowering the non-profit ecosystem and shaping a more sustainable, equitable global future.
