RIYADH — The Saudi Culinary Arts Academy “ZADK,” a non-profit institution, has signed a strategic partnership with a Swiss hospitality academy to deliver innovative culinary education and training programs.
The agreement aims to establish an educational model that meets both Saudi and global market needs, enhancing national talent and preparing them for professional careers.
The agreement was signed during the TOURISE Summit in Riyadh, in the presence of Minister of Tourism Ahmed Al-Khateeb, ZADK founder and chairwoman Rania Maala, Swiss Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Yasmin Chatila, and Leo Wang, CEO of the Swiss Education Group.
Maala expressed her pride in partnering with one of the world’s leading academic institutions in hospitality, noting that the agreement brings specialized and distinguished training programs to the Kingdom.
She underscored the importance of the partnership in creating an educational model that meets local industry needs, strengthens national competencies in hospitality and culinary arts, and empowers Saudi youth to enter the labor market with high-level global standards.
Maala added that the Swiss academy will transfer its international expertise to Saudi Arabia through accredited training programs and specialized workshops led by top global instructors.
The collaboration reflects ZADK’s commitment to supporting its students professionally and providing hands-on experience that blends Saudi authenticity with international professionalism.
She also extended her gratitude to the Emir of the Eastern Province for his continued support to the academy, and to the Minister of Tourism for sponsoring and endorsing the agreement.
