MIAMI — YouTuber Jack Doherty was arrested early Saturday on drug possession and other charges after police said he obstructed traffic while filming content in the Miami area.

According to arrest documents cited by U.S. media, the 22-year-old influencer was recording videos as he attempted to interact with officers in the middle of the road, blocking cars in the process. Police apprehended him at the scene.

A subsequent search found “half of an orange oval-shaped pill with 3 imprinted on it, consistent with a Schedule II amphetamine,” along with three “suspected cannabis cigarettes,” the documents said.

Doherty, known for provocative prank videos such as “I got kicked off a cruise” and “I crashed into a cop car,” frequently posts clips in which he confronts strangers before retreating behind his bodyguard.

He has more than 15 million YouTube subscribers, 10 million TikTok followers, and 2.8 million followers on Instagram.

It remains unclear whether Doherty has legal representation. A representative listed on his social media did not immediately respond to requests for comment. — Agencies
