RIYADH — Under the patronage of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA) will host the fourth Global AI Summit from September 15 to 17, 2026, at the King Abdulaziz International Conference Center in Riyadh.

The event is expected to draw senior government leaders, global policymakers, prominent tech CEOs, and experts, innovators, and researchers in data and artificial intelligence from around the world.

SDAIA President, Dr. Abdullah Al-Ghamdi, thanked the Crown Prince for his continued support, saying it has been vital in propelling the Kingdom to the forefront of global indicators in advanced technology.

The 2026 edition builds on the momentum of previous summits held in Riyadh (2020, 2022, and 2024), which featured high-level participation and resulted in significant initiatives and agreements with global impact. Among them was the launch of the International Center for AI Research and Ethics (ICAIRE), established under UNESCO’s patronage and headquartered in Riyadh to advance global AI ethics frameworks.

This summit reflects Saudi Arabia’s broader vision of developing a sustainable economy, while showcasing the Kingdom’s growing capacity to host major international events.

It also showcases that Saudi Arabia has emerged as an active player in the global AI race, working to shape the trajectory of advanced technologies, open new avenues for innovation, and solidify its position as a worldwide hub for artificial intelligence.
