RIYADH — Saudi Arabia’s Grand Mufti, Chairman of the Council of Senior Scholars, and Head of the General Presidency of Scholarly Research and Ifta Sheikh Saleh Al-Fawzan received Minister of Justice and President of the Supreme Judicial Council Dr. Walid Al-Samaani at the presidency headquarters in Riyadh on Thursday.

Al-Samaani congratulated Sheikh Al-Fawzan on the royal trust reposed in him with his appointment as Grand Mufti and Chairman of the Council of Senior Scholars, praying to God Almighty for his continued success in serving Islam and Muslims.

For his part, the Grand Mufti commended the efforts undertaken by the Ministry of Justice and the attention it receives from Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman in supporting and developing the judiciary.

Secretary General of the Council of Senior Scholars and Secretary General of the Permanent Committee for Ifta and General Supervisor of the Office of the Grand Mufti Sheikh DFahd Al-Majid also attended the reception.
