Saudi Gazette report
RIYADH —The Ministry of Education is preparing to launch an appointment booking service through the Madrasati platform for parents wishing to visit boys' and girls' sections of public schools.

The service aims to create a safe learning environment by scheduling and documenting parents’ visits to schools and providing them with organized and seamless service. Parents will be notified of their visit after their booking of the appointment, and the system will regulate and organize their entry and exit to the school building. Visits will be limited to those with a genuine and clear purpose, as indicated by the stated reason for the visit.

The ministry explained in the service guide that the service will be available throughout the week, with a limit of one visit of a parent per week. Parents must clearly state the reason for their visit with clearly mentioning about the concerned school official, such as school principal, vice-principal, and student counselor. The guide also noted that visits will be available both remotely and in person, and if a visit is booked for one of these two types, the visit will be canceled for the other type.
