RIYADH — Minister of Media Salman Al-Dosari has issued a decision appointing Ali Al-Zaid as the chief executive officer of the Saudi Broadcasting Authority.
Al-Zaid brings more than 20 years of experience in media and journalism, having held several leadership and training roles in major Saudi media institutions.
He has played a key role in developing content and strengthening the presence of Saudi media.
His career highlights include positions at Al-Watan newspaper from 2000 to 2011, Asharq Al-Awsat from 2012 to 2014, and Makkah newspaper between 2014 and 2018. He later joined the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
Al-Zaid has contributed to shaping media strategies and policies, leading initiatives aimed at enhancing efficiency and institutional transformation in the media sector.
He has also overseen projects focused on advancing radio, television, and digital content development.
