Prince Sultan University, King Fahad Medical City sign MoU to provide medical students with practical AI experience

Prince Sultan University has signed a cooperation agreement with King Fahad Medical City to provide medical students with practical experience and involve them in applied research projects.

The initiative aims to enhance students' professional readiness and technical skills, contributing to the development of national talent and supporting the Health Sector Transformation Program to build a healthier society.


Dr. Ahmed Yamani, president of Prince Sultan University, said the agreement is a strategic step to strengthen collaboration between the academic and health sectors.


The partnership seeks to improve the quality of medical education, research, and training while offering a comprehensive, hands-on learning environment for students across various health specialties.


Dr. Yamani noted that the agreement enables the university to leverage the expertise of King Fahad Medical City to develop national competencies and prepare qualified professionals who meet international standards. It also integrates the latest artificial intelligence technologies into education.


He added that the agreement aligns with the university’s commitment to advancing scientific research and innovation, fostering training programs that address national health priorities, and building professional skills in line with Saudi Vision 2030’s sustainable development goals.
