WASHINGTON — Saudi Minister of Communications and Information Technology Eng. Abdullah Alswaha discussed Saudi-US cooperation and partnership in sustainable technology development during his meeting with U.S. Undersecretary of State for Economic Growth, Energy, and the Environment Jacob Helberg in Washington.Saudi Ambassador to the United States Princess Reema bint Bandar also attended the meeting.

The support for innovative initiatives in energy, environment, and the digital economy; and exploration of opportunities that contribute to global sustainable development were also figured in their talks. Alswaha and Helberg also highlighted the Kingdom’s growing role as a key partner in driving the global transition toward a more sustainable economy.

The meeting was held as part of the efforts to strengthen the strategic partnership between Saudi Arabia and the United States in the digital economy, clean technologies, and innovation.
