Lulu Retail has expanded its footprint in Saudi Arabia by opening a new hypermarket in the Asal Center Tuwaiq in Riyadh. This move aligns with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, aimed at boosting the economy and creating more job opportunities.
The new store was officially inaugurated by Mohammed A. AlAhamri, Assistant Deputy Minister of Integrated Investors Services at the Ministry of Investment. During the inaugural ceremony, AlAhamri was accompanied by Turki AlAjlan, Board Member of Riyadh Chamber, Matar Salem Ali Marran AlDhaheri, Ambassador of UAE to Saudi Arabia, Dr. Suhel Ajaz Khan, Ambassador of India to Saudi Arabia, Yusuffali M.A, Chairman of Lulu Group, and other dignitaries.

The store spans 65000 square feet and features an extensive range of products, including groceries, fresh produce, meat, seafood, dairy, bakery items, home essentials, electronics, beauty products, and more. It also includes self-checkout counters for hassle free shopping and a dedicated dining area within the fresh food section.

Lulu launches Saudi Pomegranate Season to promote local produce
As part of its commitment to supporting local agriculture, Lulu Retail has officially launched the Saudi Pomegranate season. This initiative aims to promote the rich quality and freshness of locally grown pomegranates, encouraging customers to choose homegrown produce and support Saudi farmers, reinforcing Lulu’s dedication to celebrating Saudi Arabia’s agricultural heritage while enhancing the shopping experience.
