RIYADH — Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman received on Sunday a phone call from French President Emmanuel Macron.
During the call, the leaders reviewed the latest developments in the Gaza Strip and the efforts being made to end the war in the strip and enhance security and stability in the Middle East.
They emphasized the necessity of immediately alleviating the humanitarian suffering of the Palestinian people and achieving a complete Israeli withdrawal from the Gaza Strip. Both leaders agreed on the importance of initiating practical steps toward achieving a just peace based on the two-state solution.
The Crown Prince and Macron reviewed the ongoing cooperation between Saudi Arabia and France across a number of fields. They also discussed several issues of mutual interest.
