RIYADH — Soundstorm announced that Grammy-winning rapper Cardi B will headline its 2025 edition this December, joining a star-studded lineup that already includes Lil Yachty, Miguel, Pitbull, Swedish House Mafia, Tyla, Young Thug, and more.
The announcement follows Soundstorm’s first artist reveal, which featured Benson Boone, Kaytranada, Loyle Carner, and Post Malone.
Cardi B’s addition is expected to electrify the three-day music festival in Riyadh, marking her first performance in Saudi Arabia.
The global superstar, who released her long-awaited second album Am I the Drama? in September, continues to redefine modern hip-hop.
Her debut album Invasion of Privacy made history as the first solo female rap album in 15 years to win a Grammy for Best Rap Album.
This year’s Soundstorm lineup highlights diverse global acts, including Lil Yachty, who blurs the boundaries between rap, rock, and alternative music, and Miguel, the Grammy-winning artist known for his soulful blend of R&B and funk.
Global entertainer Pitbull will bring his signature high-energy performance, while Swedish House Mafia promises an immersive electronic showcase.
Other confirmed artists include South African sensation Tyla, hip-hop innovator Young Thug, pop icon Ava Max, DJ and producer Black Coffee, and singer-songwriter Halsey, making this one of Soundstorm’s most international editions yet. — SG
