MAKKAH — Advisor to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and Emir of Makkah Region Prince Khaled Al-Faisal affirmed that the announcement by Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman about the launch of the King Salman Gate project in Makkah reflects the wise leadership's interest in development of the region in general, and the Holy Capital in particular.
The Emir emphasized that the leadership of Saudi Arabia has given special attention to Makkah, as it is the Qiblah (direction in prayer) of Muslims from all over the world. He pointed out that this project, which bears a name dear to the heart of every citizen, contributes to shaping the features of a future befitting this holy place.
Prince Khaled Al-Faisal asked God Almighty to safeguard this country under the leadership of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and the Crown Prince, and to perpetuate the blessings of security and prosperity.
Meanwhile, Deputy Emir of Makkah Prince Saud bin Mishaal affirmed that the King Salman Gate project in Makkah stems from the care and attention that the wise leadership has given to this sacred site.
Prince Saud stated that the project's components take into account the importance of Makkah as a destination for Muslims, and its rich historical and cultural heritage, which simultaneously enriches the experience of visitors and contributes to achieving the goals of Vision 2030. The deputy emir pointed out that the Saudi government has not and will not spare any effort in the pursuit of development and progress.
