ISLAMABAD — Saudi Shoura Council Speaker Sheikh Abdullah Al-Sheikh held an official session of talks with Speaker of the Pakistan National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq at the National Assembly headquarters in Islamabad on Tuesday.

For his part, Dr. Al-Sheikh expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the Speaker of the Pakistan National Assembly for the warm reception and generous hospitality. He noted the significant progress witnessed in Saudi-Pakistani relations at multiple levels. He emphasized the distinguished ties between the Shoura Council and the National Assembly, underlining the importance of strengthening their respective roles in enhancing these relations.

During the talks, the two sides reviewed aspects of their strong bilateral relations and discussed ways to enhance parliamentary cooperation between the Shoura Council and the National Assembly, aiming to serve the common interests of the two countries and their people. They also exchanged views on several regional and international issues of mutual concern.
