JEDDAH — The Jeddah Mayoralty has successfully recovered 15,233,220 square meters of government land within the boundaries of the Dhahban branch municipality, after removing 120 illegal structures.

This comes as part of the mayoralty’s ongoing efforts to prevent encroachments on public property, address negative urban issues, and enhance the city's aesthetics. Eng. Abdullah Al-Mubaraki, head of the Dhahban branch municipality, said that inspection teams, in cooperation with the State Property Monitoring and Encroachment Removal Committee, launched a three-day campaign this week to remove the 120 illegal structures in the eastern part of Dhahban.

The operation, which involved personnel and equipment, resulted in the recovery of a significant area of government land and the elimination of an eyesore in the city.

The mayoralty reaffirms its commitment to strengthening municipal oversight to protect public property, curb illegal practices, and improve the urban and environmental landscape, thus enhancing the quality of life for residents and visitors.
