Average Umrah duration reaches 115 minutes last month

The average duration for performing Umrah during the month of Rabi Al-Awwal 1447 AH was 115 minutes, according to a report of the General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque.

MAKKAH — The average duration for performing Umrah during the month of Rabi Al-Awwal 1447 AH was 115 minutes, according to a report of the General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque. The report indicated that 87 percent of pilgrims performed Tawaf in the Mataf area of the Grand Mosque.



The authority stated that during the same month, the average duration for Tawaf was 46 minutes, while Sa'i took approximately 47 minutes. Additionally, it took around 12 minutes to move from the courtyards to the Mataf area and about 10 minutes to travel from the Mataf to Al-Mas'a area.

The authority emphasized its ongoing commitment to closely monitoring and facilitating the movement of pilgrims within the Grand Mosque and its facilities, ensuring they can perform their rituals with comfort and peace of mind.
