RIYADH — The Ministry of Culture signed a memorandum of understanding with Jeddah Central Development Company to document and showcase the cultural identity of Jeddah.

The agreement was signed during the Cultural Investment Forum at the King Fahd Cultural Center in Riyadh.

The MoU aims to strengthen cooperation in cultural fields to reinforce Jeddah’s position as a vibrant cultural hub that reflects Saudi Arabia’s diverse heritage.

It covers strategic planning, development of cultural assets, and encouraging participation from both public and private sectors in supporting cultural projects.

The agreement also seeks to empower creative professions, create innovative cultural assets, and expand access to culture across different social groups.

The memorandum includes launching unique cultural projects, investment studies to enhance the sector’s economic impact, and building a supportive regulatory environment for cultural investment.

It also emphasizes developing a comprehensive strategy to nurture cultural talents and skills to ensure the sector’s sustainability and growth.
