RIYADH — Foreign ministers of Saudi Arabia, Jordan, the United Arab Emirates, Indonesia, Pakistan, Türkiye, Qatar, and Egypt issued a joint statement welcoming US President Donald Trump’s leadership and efforts to end the war in Gaza.

The ministers expressed confidence in Trump’s ability to chart a path toward peace and highlighted the importance of partnership with the United States in securing stability in the region.

They welcomed Trump’s proposal, which includes ending the war, rebuilding Gaza, preventing the displacement of Palestinians, advancing comprehensive peace, and his declaration that Israel will not be allowed to annex the West Bank.

The statement affirmed the ministers’ readiness to work constructively with the United States and relevant parties to finalize and implement the agreement in a way that ensures peace, security, and stability for the region’s peoples.

The ministers further pledged their joint commitment to cooperate with Washington on a comprehensive agreement to end the Gaza war, guaranteeing unrestricted humanitarian aid to the Strip, preventing Palestinian displacement, securing the release of hostages, and creating a security mechanism that ensures safety for all sides.

The statement also called for Israel’s full withdrawal, the reconstruction of Gaza, and the establishment of a fair peace process based on a two-state solution. Under this framework, Gaza would be fully united with the West Bank within a Palestinian state in accordance with international law, which the ministers described as the key to achieving lasting regional stability and security.
