MAKKAH — The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah makes major headway in preparations well in advance for the Hajj season of 2026. The ministry has been working, eight months in advance, to develop services and improve the overall religious experience for pilgrims through a series of meetings and initiatives.

To date, the ministry has completed several key initiatives, coordinating with representatives from over 60 countries through their Hajj affairs offices and holding more than 50 meetings to facilitate the launch of the Saudi buses initiative, aimed at enhancing pilgrims’ transportation.

Through the Nusuk Masar platform, the ministry has approved 16 companies serving pilgrims from abroad, finalized the automation of service guides for 75 countries, and activated 189 hospitality centers.

The ministry also qualified and ensured the readiness of 24 companies providing services to pilgrims from abroad and licensed over 11 service companies for domestic pilgrims.

It held 25 workshops to develop services, approved the implementation of 25 innovative initiatives for the upcoming season, and launched a database to register volunteers for the next Hajj season.
