ABHA — The General Directorate of Narcotics Control arrested three Saudi citizens for trafficking 22 kilograms of hashish, khat leaves, and controlled pharmaceutical tablets in the southern Asir region. They were referred to the Public Prosecution after taking the necessary legal procedures against them.



The security authorities urged citizens and residents to report any information they have regarding drug trafficking or related activities by calling over the number 911 in the regions of Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province, and the number 999 in the rest of the Kingdom, or the General Directorate of Narcotics Control hotline at 995.

Information can also be submitted via email to 995@gdnc.gov.sa. All reports will be treated with complete confidentiality, and the identity of the informant will remain protected, the authorities said.
