NEW YORK — Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan attended on Sunday the coordination meeting of the foreign ministers of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member states, held ahead of the United Nations General Assembly's High-Level Week in New York.

The meeting was attended by foreign ministers of the GCC countries, along with GCC Secretary General Jasem Albudaiwi.



Their discussions focused on enhancing cooperation and joint coordination, as well as reviewing the latest developments in the Gulf region. The ministers affirmed their full solidarity with the State of Qatar and reiterated their support for all measures that safeguard its security and sovereignty.

The meeting also addressed regional and international developments and the efforts being made in this regard, while emphasizing the importance of strengthening cooperation with international organizations to promote global peace and security.
