Saudi Gazette report
RIYADH — The General Directorate of Civil Defense has called for caution as thunderstorms are expected to continue hitting most of the regions across Saudi Arabia until Thursday.
The Makkah region is expected to witness moderate to heavy rains, which may cause flash floods, hail, and dust-stirring winds. Moderate to heavy rains are anticipated in the regions of Jazan, Asir and Al-Baha, while Madinah, Riyadh, Qassim, Hail, Eastern Province and Najran regions are expected to receive light to moderate rain.
The directorate urged the public to exercise vigil, avoid floodwaters and valleys, and follow safety instructions broadcast through authorized media channels.
