RIYADH — Ali Larijani, secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, arrived in Riyadh on Tuesday for meetings with senior Saudi officials.

The visit comes as part of ongoing consultations between the two countries and follows Saudi Defense Minister Prince Khalid bin Salman’s recent trip to Tehran.

Larijani is accompanied by Ali Bagheri Kani, deputy secretary of the Supreme National Security Council, and Mohammad Ali Bagh, assistant foreign minister.

Talks are expected to cover political, security, and economic cooperation, as well as regional developments, according to Iranian reports.
