RIYADH — The General Department of Traffic revealed that there were three major causes for traffic accidents in the Riyadh region during the year 2024.

Sudden swerving, not leaving sufficient distance between vehicles, and the driver's use of mobile phone while driving were among the major causes of traffic accidents in the Riyadh region.

The department called on drivers to adhere to traffic laws and regulations and traffic safety on roads in all regions of the Kingdom.
