Doha to host emergency Arab-Islamic summit Monday on Israeli attack

September 13, 2025

DOHA — Official Spokesperson of the Qatari Foreign Ministry Dr. Majid Al Ansari announced Saturday that Doha will host the emergency Arab-Islamic summit next Monday in response to recent regional developments.

Speaking to Qatar News Agency (QNA), Al Ansari said the summit will review a draft statement on the Israeli attack against Qatar, submitted by Arab and Islamic foreign ministers during a preparatory meeting scheduled for Sunday.

He stressed that convening the summit at this time underscores the significance of broad Arab and Islamic solidarity with Qatar in confronting what he described as the cowardly Israeli aggression targeting the residential headquarters of several Hamas leaders.

He added that participating states categorically reject what they call state terrorism practiced by Israel. — QNA
