RIYADH — The Human Resources Development Fund (HADAF), under the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, revealed that one million secondary school students across Saudi Arabia have benefited from its career guidance and counseling initiative since its launch in September 2023 until the end of May 2025. This is in continuation of HADAF's efforts to empower talented students, prepare them for the future, and bridge the gap between their skills and the future of the labor market.
The initiative covered holding more than 19,000 workshops, 18 career guidance forums across the Kingdom, and nearly 5,000 individual and group counseling sessions, along with other external activities that benefit student counselors and parents.
The initiative aimed to help boy and girl students make informed about educational choices and career decisions and discover their professional inclinations in an earlier period. Through an integrated system of career guidance and counseling services, students are assisted in mapping their future, defining their professional direction, and selecting suitable academic paths.
These efforts reflect the HADAF's commitment to reshaping the Saudi labor market with national talent prepared for the future, focusing on building sustainable human capacities that support the Kingdom’s long-term economic growth, and preparing generations capable of innovation and adapting to future changes.
