At least 30 injured as vehicle plows into crowd in Los Angeles

LOS ANGELES — At least 30 people were injured, including seven in critical condition, after an unidentified vehicle drove into a crowd in Los Angeles early Saturday, according to local media reports.

The incident occurred around 2 a.m. local time near West Santa Monica Boulevard in East Hollywood, an area known for its nightlife and music venues, CNN reported, citing the Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD).

Emergency responders confirmed that seven victims were transported in critical condition, six others sustained serious injuries, and 10 were listed in fair condition.

Authorities have not yet identified the driver or confirmed whether the act was intentional.
