MAKKAH The General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque has urged visitors to the Grand Mosque to adhere to health precautionary guidelines to ensure their safety and well-being.

The authority emphasized the importance of wearing masks, regularly using hand sanitizers, washing hands with soap and water, avoiding sharing personal items, and staying adequately hydrated to prevent dehydration.

Visitors are also advised to avoid overcrowding when entering and exiting the Grand Mosque, promptly visit the nearest health center if they experience any symptoms, and dispose of waste in designated areas to maintain a safe worship environment.

The authority noted that healthcare services are available around the clock through three emergency centers operated by the Makkah Health Cluster within the mosque. These measures reflect the authority's ongoing commitment to the health and safety of worshippers, in line with the Saudi leadership's directives to provide all necessary services and facilities for visitors to perform their rituals with utmost comfort.
