RIYADH —
Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz has directed the hosting of 1,300 pilgrims from 100 countries to perform Hajj this year under the annual Guests of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Program for Hajj, Umrah, and Visit.

The initiative is implemented by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance.

In a statement, Minister of Islamic Affairs and General Supervisor of the program Sheikh Dr. Abdullatif Al Al-Sheikh extended his gratitude to King Salman and Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman for the generous directive.

He said the move reflects the Kingdom’s continued commitment to supporting Islamic causes and underscores Saudi Arabia’s leadership role in the Muslim world.

The minister confirmed that the Ministry has immediately mobilized its resources to ensure the guests receive the highest standard of care and services.

A comprehensive operational plan is already in place, featuring spiritual, cultural, and academic programs, as well as field visits to key Islamic and historical sites in Makkah and Madinah.

The program also includes meetings with prominent scholars and imams of the Two Holy Mosques to enrich the guests' spiritual and intellectual journey.

He described the initiative as a distinguished and strategic effort to strengthen ties with religious, academic, and intellectual leaders across the Islamic world and to promote civilizational and religious dialogue.

Since its inception in 1417H, the program has hosted nearly 65,000 pilgrims from 140 countries, providing them with full logistical, religious, healthcare, and cultural support—from nomination to their return home after completing Hajj.

Dr. Al Al-Sheikh emphasized that the program exemplifies the Kingdom’s unwavering generosity and dedication to serving Islam and Muslims.

He said it aligns with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 goals by enhancing the Kingdom’s global presence and deepening its connections with Islamic communities worldwide.

He concluded with prayers for the safety and continued prosperity of King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, and for the sustained security, stability, and leadership of Saudi Arabia across all fields.
